It's been a long time since I've posted, or sculpted.... But recently have had time to work on a couple miniature ornaments in resin. They are each 1.5" tall, and hand painted. Each one is unique! I have found making the very small fairies in resin allows me to keep a lot of delicate details, without the fragility of polymer. They are also very reasonably priced at only 38.00. There are several up for sale in my new etsy shop...just click on the link to the right to take a look.
I plan on making several more resin ornaments, and in the following months also start sculpting some original pieces. I have been in the process of recovering from illness, working full time, renovating, and moving to a more rural location.... So hopefully in a few months time I will be able to devote more time to my favorite pastime! Thanks to all that continue to view my website.
Here are a couple enlarged pics of some of the items up for sale...
Been receiving a flood of emails and page views lately, and unsure why. Due to personal reasons, I have and will be unable to make any sculptures for a while. Perhaps in the future this will be possible, but at present there are not the means or the time. I will continue to leave the site up so my work remains visible until the time comes when I can sculpt again. I do not check my email more than once a month, and can't type much so I apologize for not being able to answer any questions personally, although I have gotten some very lovely and touching messages which have really struck a chord.... it is amazing how people with a love of faerie have been through such similar circumstances!
One main question I would like to address, because it comes up constantly, is availability of work on the site. All of the pieces you see here are sold, except the Ball jointed doll and the pod faerie, which are my last two posts. There are a lot of other costumes for the ball jointed doll which I will post soon, in case anyone is interested in purchasing either one.
Thank you everyone for your continued support in my absence, fairy blessings, Candice
