I've really enjoyed sculpting this one..she's a throwback to some of my earlier root faerie creations. This entire summer here in Pennsylvania has been riddled with daily errant downpours, and after, oppressive heat and humidity. Fungi flourish both in the woodlands, and also in my indoor plant pots and worm composting bin! Fragile inky cap mushrooms emerge overnight, then by morning, curl, drip and disintegrate into mysterious tarry pools. Detritus and decay are so rampant, that it has inspired me to create creatures that assist in this natural process...hope you enjoy!
